Toddler backpacks

I got the twins toddler backpacks from Thirtyone. Complete with their nicknames embroidered on the packs.
Today...dressed up for church sporting their new church bags.
Weston dragging his bag the day we got the package in the mail.
Sami posing with her bag. Love the look!

Shop Hop

My friends took me on a shop hop a couple weekends ago...

The North Texas Shop Hop consists of traveling to 13 different quilt shops around the metroplex in 3 days. At each shop you get to choose a free fat quarter and a block pattern that when finished is the quilt we are standing in front of. We decided in order to get to every shop we would need to see a few on Friday. So we took our kids to 3 shops Friday and childless saw the other 10 on Saturday. (Saturday was more fun!)
After visiting all 13 shops you get entered to win a gift basket full of 300 dollars worth of quilting supplies...
And I WON!
Of course I had to drive to Whitesboro (hour and half one way) to pick it up. But my kids seem to enjoy roadtrips...crazy huh!

Hugs and kisses

This is what the kids do these days when I ask them to give each other a hug. I'm beginning to think Weston hurts Sami on purpose so I will tell him to give her a hug and he can then tackle her. The kissing was new as of today.

Finished 1 project

Curtain for twins room...
So I made and my mom helped me finish crib blankets for the twins over a year ago. I started the blankets before they were born...I started this curtain soon after we finished the blankets...

I'm not very fast at finishing projects. When I sit down to work on them I enjoy it. I find lots of excuses not to work on them, but I need to stop procrastinating.

Want to bet how fast I'll finish the crib bedding I'm making for this new baby? Keep in mind my scheduled C-section is in 10 weeks and I haven't bought the material yet.

Happy Birthday to me!

Sami and Wes enjoying the cake.
Weston thought it was funny I blew on the cake. So after he got his piece he would blow on it and laugh.
Sami's got a bit of a Sydney look in this picture, don't you think Kay?Seth took the day off, stayed home with the kids and made me this delicious chocolate, chocolate cake. Think he was a bit worn out by the end of the day.
Thanks babe for the best birthday!

Three week trip - Arizona, Idaho and Utah

Both Grandma's are threatening me that they need grandtwin pictures. So here are the pictures when we came to visit you!
Sami's new face when I try to take her picture. This is at my mom's house in Arizona. I found this cute dress at Kohls.
Wes and Sami wearing hats. Yes this is right after I did Sami's hair, right before church.
At my brothers in Rexburg.
I think Wes is saying MY CAR - NO TOUCH!
Such a silly boy!
Mandi and I seem to like the same outfits for our girls. Funny thing is when we dressed them alike they played together most of the day.
I was excited we were going to be in Idaho for the 24th of July, as our 4th celebrations in Texas were rained on.
Mandi handing out snacks to the young-ins before the parade started.
Megan and Sami at the Idaho Falls Zoo. Not quite the Dallas Zoo. But not nearly as hot either!Sami found my pen and wrote on her face while we were Walmart shopping before the reunion.
At Seth's parents in Utah. Wes LOVED running and playing in the water outside.
Sami stood and watched!
Twins checking out the tracks and rocks at the golden spike park.
We picked Seth up at the airport the day before. I don't know who was more excited. Daddy to see kids or kids to see Daddy. He was happy to and the kids demanded to both be held by dad!
In the hotel on the way home. Pretty happy after traveling all day in the car.
So happy they travel well. Must be in the genes.

Dallas arboretum

We went to the Dallas Arboretum with some friends last week. The day was a little less hot then other days...so we only "glistened" a little.

My kids cooperating for pictures!
