Trying to get Jaxon to wake up yesterday after returning home from errands. Seth and I both walked past him and thought, "What a tub!"

Christmas Time
Seth and I really enjoyed Christmas this year. The twins are at a great age. (Aside from the occasional tantrum). With Seth's paternity leave we spent a lot of time together at home.
Christmas Eve Day we made sugar cookies and let the kids frost a couple...
They mostly just ate the frosting.
We started the tradition a few years ago to have Japanese Hibachi for Christmas Eve dinner.
The other group at our table liked watching the twins reactions to the "show".

Thanks Grandma
Grandma flew home on Monday. We miss her and appreciated all the meals and diaper changes.

Twin time
My mom and I decided to take the kids to the Gaylord for the Ice exhibit. When I was looking for coupons to the pricey event, I came across some unhappy reviews of the experience. So we decided to go check out the decorations and decide there if it was worth the price. It wasn't worth the $12 parking but it was a fun outing for us.

Before and Baby
With Sami's runny nose and cough, and Weston's slight cough we didn't want to take the kids to the hospital until they were feeling better.
They are adjusting to new baby and doing better now that mommy is home. Mom, Dad and twins did not enjoy being separated the last few days.
Need to get a good picture of Jaxon and all his dark hair. He is dang cute but the pictures so far aren't doing him justice!

Happy shoppers
If you notice the red mark above Sami's eye, that is from her falling down in a store last weekend.
The baby's room is ready. I have done the Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping. My hospital bag is packed. Seth has his schedule for next week hanging on the fridge. Now I just need my sicky Sami to get over her cold. I hate to leave her when she is sick.
Seth informed me that I can blog from my laptop in the hospital. So I will upload pictures as soon as I can on Monday!
I can't wait to meet this little boy!

Lunch time
I gave the kids cottage cheese with lunch today. This is what happens if I leave the room and let them feed themselves...

2 weeks left
Just an update on us.
We have two weeks left until the twins have a new little brother. Really don't think they have a clue on what's going on. Toys moved out of their room, that I know they see in the baby's room. A crib. Car seats moved to the back seat in the minivan. Really can you ignore moms big belly?
Will keep you updated on how they deal with the new addition to our family.

Thanksgiving banner
This one I did mostly myself (well Seth had to help with some Photoshop questions). I really need to learn Photoshop one of these days.
There are 25 leaves, we are going to write something we are thankful for each day until Thanksgiving. Then for Thanksgiving dinner we will read them all. Did you notice I didn't say Thanksgiving day? Our dinner will be Friday or Saturday, as Mom gets here Thursday and hopefully I'll be home from the hospital that day too.
Halloween
I hope the kids enjoy Halloween next year because this year was a fight. I felt like such a mean mommy dressing up my kids and both of them crying as I'm dressing them and after until the costumes were off again.
Weston was a dinosaur.
Here daddy is comforting him the first time I put the costumes on them (a week before).
We pretended to trick or treat at our back door. They stopped crying only when they had candy in their mouths.
Sami and Wes at the church trunk or treat Saturday night. Sami was not shy about going around with daddy to all the cars. Wes stayed behind with me at first and helped me hand out candy.
He was very helpful and CUTE!

Sami likes her shades
I don't know if you noticed in the October fun post just how many pictures Sami is wearing her sunglasses in....it's alot.
When the sunglasses make it to the house from the car. She puts them on when she gets out of her crib in the morning. So in PJ's, needing a diaper change, hair everywhere...but we are wearing the shades.
Love my silly kids!

October fun
October has been busy with birthdays, state fairs, pumpkin patches and me trying to organize the rest of the year. With twins who are growing up way to fast for me!
On Seth's Friday off we took the kids to the Texas State Fair. Why I insist on going pregnant, I don't know. We didn't even go last year. We didn't actually take pictures at the fair. But this is us riding the DART to the fair.
Sami and Wes sitting up to the table in their travel booster chairs. For a couple days they both fought me on getting in their high chairs. So we moved them up to the table, reluctantly.
Sami in Daddy's truck ready to go on the Daddy Daughter campout. Except that Daddy was on call this weekend and they came home a couple hours later. Think they both enjoyed their one on one time with us.

Twins 2nd Birthday
We went to Chick a fil a for lunch and put them down for naps when we got home. They woke from their naps to balloons and gifts.
We had a couple friends over for cake and ice cream. I made two cupcake cakes. And have decided that they will get their own cake every year. Why? I don't know why...
